Introducing...The Accu Information
Manager - AIM 96. Finally a PIM with the built-in ability
to handle Personal Projects and Time Keeping. AIM is a
PIM (Personal Information Manager), but it could also be
considered a PPIM if there were such a category. What's a
PPIM you ask? It's a Personal Project
& Information Manager. AIM 96 provides a much needed work centric information manager. It's perfect for individuals who provide services for others, or for individuals who wish to keep an accurate diary of their work day. This is handy when the client or boss asks... such as track Addresses, Appointments, Phone Calls,
Notes, and To Do's, but it doesn't end there! AIM also

and appointment or phone call from an address or a phone
call from a To Do or note. You can clone just about
anything from anything always copying appropriate
information from one activity to the next. Creating
cloned entries will easily create a contact history list
for any person in you address book. |
| Customizable Reporting | Over 100 customizable reports to choose from. Quickly
report all your activity for a day, week, month or even
the whole year. Easily print envelopes and fax covers for
you contacts. Popular paper based organizer formats are
also supported if you insist on still carrying one of
those around. You can modify fields on the report, filter
the report for only certain data and sort a variety of
ways. |
| MDI Environment | Multiple Document Interface
allows you to easily and quickly switch from one activity
to another and back to the first one without ever losing
a beat. While taking on the phone and logging the call,
you could check your calendar, add an appointment, check
the contact history for this person or any other and then
hope back to the phone call and close it out with notes
about the conversation. There's no stopping this to do
that, just do what you want when you want. |

All of the information you record is stored in a Paradox format database. This format is explained in detail in the help text. With this information, you can easily generate your own reports several of the popular reporting programs such as Crystal Reports and Report Smith. For the more advance user, simple extract can be written to feed information in your PIM to other programs. |

Well, look no further because AIM is here! AIM (Accu Information Manager) provides all the usual time management tools of any PIM, but it doesn't stop there. It simply and easily allows you to record the actual hours you work on your varying tasks throughout the day. A click here, a click there and viola, you have easily recorded the time spent on an activity. It's easy to keep an historical record of what you did, when you did it, for whom you did it, and how long it took. |
| Back to Top | The Right-Click Pop-Up menus that are available allow you to quickly and easily clone activities and link them to a contact in your phone book. To call someone in your address book, simply right-click their name and select Phone Call Clone. Up pops a detail phone log record with their phone number (additional phone numbers for this person are only a clock away) displayed and call timer going. While speaking with this person, you can right-click any gray area of the phone call detail and select Appointment Clone. Up pops a detail appointment log (with the phone call log still clicking away in the background) with the person name already filled in. Fill in the date, time and detail information and click OK and viola, the appointment is setup and linked to this person. Finish the phone call by clicking OK and viola, the phone call is logged and linked to this person as well. To easily see the contact history you have or will have with this person, right-click on their name and select Address History and up pops an address history display with all the appointments, phone call, notes, to do's and billable hours that are linked to this contact. Never again forget when you last spoke or met with someone or what you have or need to do for them. |
